AMBER ZUPANCIC-ALBIN JD, BSN, RN

Licensed since 2009, Amber has obtained extensive experience as a health care lawyer and litigator.  She clerked for the Attorney General's Office Bureau of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse, and worked for one of the largest medical malpractice law firms in Portland and other very well-respected law firms in the Portland area.  She also worked in-house at OHSU in their professional liability department, performing risk management, contracting and negotiating high exposure medical malpractice claims. Amber has extensive experience handling complex health care regulatory issues, licensure matters and advising healthcare clients regarding starting or owning a healthcare practice. 

 

Amber is also an experienced business law attorney. She has helped numerous clients form small businesses and advise and educate her clients regarding small business legal issues.

Prior to her legal career, Amber worked as a cardiac and critical care nurse for several hospitals in the Portland, OR area.

Outside of Work

Amber is the proud mother of three girls, outnumbering her husband by a long shot.  Even the family dog, Lily, is a girl.  In her spare time, she loves being with her family, running, yoga-ing, playing the piano, maintaining first place in parallel parking, embarrassing her children and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Amber is also the author of a children’s book and hopes to author more.
