ABOUT THE FIRM
Unique. Focused. Approachable.
Zupancic Albin Law specializes in representing health care providers and the health care industry in all things legal. Led by one of the few nurse attorneys in the nation, Amber Zupancic-Albin is passionate about representing the industry she knows inside and out.
Amber began her career as a critical care and cardiac nurse here in the Pacific Northwest. After several years of clinical work, Amber became fascinated with the relationship between medicine and the law and pursued her law degree. For the last 9 years, Amber has had the privilege of advocating for the people she worked next to on those long, tough days in the hospital.
Zupancic Albin Law is a "one stop shop" for health care clients. Amber regularly advises clients in a wide array of areas, from complex healthcare regulatory issues and risk management to defending providers before their licensing board. Amber is also an experienced litigator who can navigate all phases of litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Amber analyzes each case with a unique perspective and thoughtful approach. She thinks first and acts second. Whether in the boardroom or the courtroom, Amber dedicates her practice to finding effective and creative solutions for her clients.
Licensed since 2009, Amber has obtained extensive experience as a health care lawyer. She clerked for the Attorney General's Office Bureau of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse, worked for one of the largest medical malpractice law firms in Portland and other very well-respected law firms in the Portland area. She also worked in-house at OHSU in their professional liability department, performing risk management, contracting and negotiating high exposure medical malpractice claims.
